Shannon Farris, Administrative & Recruiting Coordinator
As the Administrative and Recruiting Coordinator at Crossroads, I am responsible for making sure that the office is organized and that staff and client needs are met to ensure that our clients are receiving the best services possible. I also am responsible for recruiting on behalf of our clients for any position that they need filled.
My goal is to maintain a positive, organized, and efficient office environment that is professional, comfortable, and welcoming to our clients. As for recruiting, my goals are to help our clients find potential employees that will meet the needs of their business and will integrate into a team that has a shared vision. I enjoy being a small part of not only opening the door for people to step into a new job or career, but also assisting in the growth of our clients’ businesses.
I graduated from Louisiana State University with a bachelor’s degree in Child and Family Studies in December of 2015. I began working full time at Crossroads in October of 2016. It has been a great journey of how the Lord has brought me to Crossroads and I am excited to be a part of a team who builds their foundation on Christ and desires that to be seen first in everything they do.
In my personal life, I enjoy running, cooking, reading, and spending time with my family and friends. In college, the Lord really placed a strong desire on my heart to serve and I have enjoyed every aspect of being used by Him to serve others so that His name be glorified. I am excited to see where the Lord continues to take me in life and how He will continue to use me for His glory.
