Living Life is Still the Priority

Feb 18, 2012, Written by Sue Miley

I just read this thought provoking post Living Life vs. Just Writing About It.  The reason it provoked my thought was because it resonated so much with how I feel when I don’t have time to write.

Why?

Is it writer’s block?

Lack of content?

Can’t get the post just right?

NO! It’s none of these things.  It is because I am living life.  Yes, I try to store up extra posts.  God knows at age 45+ I have already lived enough life to write for the rest of my life.  But that would assume I was done.  And I’m not.

I hate that I feel guilty that I haven’t written a post in a week which is crazy because I am a counselor and a coach and my mission is to help people.  And when I am busy hopefully I am helping people.  I know I can help people through the blog also, but I felt like this post was a reminder that living life is still our priority.

Hopefully God isn’t done with me yet!  How about you?
