Propel: Women Who Lead

If you have never seen Christine Caine speak, you need to look for an opportunity to go to one of her conferences, or find her online.  I have seen her a few different times and all I can say is “ball of energy.”  She talks fast and moves constantly.

I have been amazed over the years at the growth and accomplishment of her organization, A21, that helps fight global human trafficking. When I first saw her speak, it was a ministry just beginning. This is the mission on their site today:

But, just as the entrepreneur we described above, Christine Caine is about starting new things.  Her passion to abolish injustice is the same passion that helps her see new opportunities and new possibilities.  She has just launched a new online magazine called:

Propel

propel

The mission and vision of Propel is “Helping women internalize a leadership identity & fulfill their purpose, passion & potential.”

It is based on three scriptures:

PASSION

Passion is the active and vibrant expression of individual giftings and talents that invigorates an unreserved extension of the heart and hand.

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.” Colossians 3:23

PURPOSE

Purpose allows us to respond to the call over our lives and is the driving force behind what we’ve been prepared in advance to do.

“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Ephesians 2:10

POTENTIAL

Potential is the untapped, God-given power in us to multiply all that we have been entrusted with. It is the residing capacity that propels us beyond horizontal boundaries and is released by limitless nature of God.

“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.” Ephesians 3:20

There is an abundance of talented women involved in this publication with Christine Caine.  The list includes educators, politicians, pastors, women in ministry and more.  Rather than list them, I am hoping you will go to their new site www.propelwomen.org and see this excellent resource for yourself.  (And guys, there are a few men involved, and I know you have important women in your life you want to encourage.  Share this link!)
